Been a while since the lazy overworked officers posted a news update. Seems tonight would be a good night to do just that.

*bamm* Putricide 25 Hard mode dead.



Been a tough one for us to get this, but as soon as we set up tonight's raid with a retridin tanking, a holydin dpsing, made sure to miss at least 2 critical raid (de)buffs in the raid, and wiped with putri on 1% it was inevitable we'd kill him.

Yay, we got him!

Everyone was really psyched up to make sure we got LK down this week so we did just that. One slightly ropey attempt where half the raid took up skydiving followed by a flawless phase 2 and a very nice phase 3.



Well ok, phase 3 was less 'very nice' and more 'horribly messy, oh dear god please hang on another few seconds'. Ghost bombers hurt a lot and I think the healers nearly exploded keeping everyone alive - except Ténar who skived off sunbathing inside a sword or something - but a kill's a kill!

True CD style too with both tanks dead at 12%, lucky there was a passing paladin to rez us all.

Took a few tries to perfect our strategy for Sindy, but after tonight's amazing start and two quick wipes, Sindy went down in a virtually flawless kill!

This puts us at a rather nice 11/12 in ICC25

(We killed Blood Queen a couple of weeks ago but the slacking officers didn't make a post!)

We were amongst the unlucky people who didn't quite manage to kill Putricide in week one before his bug fixes made Phase 3 a little harder. There is of course nothing like having limited attempts to focus the mind, which is why we decided to spend 4 of them blowing up.

After that (and a little tank killing for good measure) we were all more focussed than a laser in a lense factory killing him with 3 attempts remaining!


This really has been a fun fight to refine our strategies on, and the guild as a whole has worked together to tweak them more than ever before. Big congratulations to everyone in <Continental Drift> on tonight's kill.
