We would describe ourselves as a 'family-based' guild with a focus on PvE content although we do have plenty of people who enjoy PvP. Note this post only applies to people who have never been in CD or Old Continent (OC) in other games. Old friends do not have to apply again. Just find an officer for an invite.
We also prefer applicants be aged 18+ and not to have any open application to any other guild.

After you apply, your application will be considered by the guild officers before being opened up for voting by the guild members. You need to find 2 existing full members of CD to vote for you which is usually achieved by responding to questions on the forums, or by chatting to our members who are all very friendly and like talking to new applicant.
Once you receive two votes then an officer will invite you as an initiate to the guild.
The Initiate Phase
Currently, this will last a month. During that time you will be treated as any other member of CD apart from the distribution of raid loot. You are encouraged during this time to attend raids (if possible), group with members and make yourself known through guild chat and the forums.
You are required to be available for at least 60 percent of raids during your initiate month. We raid four nights a week (Sun, Mon, Tues, Thu) from approx 20:00 till 23:00 server time. We are sympathetic to real life circumstances so should something unexpected arise then speak to an officer. If you do not make 60 percent of the raids in that period then your application will most likely fail.
At the end of the initiate period all full members are invited to vote on whether to promote you to full member.
We expect you to maintain good behaviour
- No ninja looting or other bad behaviour that violates normal play nice policies. We have a good reputation as a guild and expect all members to uphold it at all times
- No poor behaviour in public. For example, foul and abusive language in public channels, spamming trade etc. Basically anything that may reflect on the guild tag that you are now wearing
